On July 19th, 20th and 21st 2013, the Sequim Arts Studio Tour will celebrating its 7th year. While the exact number of participating artists has not yet been determined, the tour is gearing up and so far has about 22 artists on its 2013 tour.
Located in the countryside surrounding beautiful Sequim Washington on the Olympic Peninsula, local artists open their studios to share their work with the public. Many have on going demonstrations throughout the tour showing the how’s and why’s of their techniques and media. Tour artist engage in a wide variety of media including watercolors, acrylics, jewelry, slumped glass, wood working, cedar basketry and collage. Genre’s include modern, expressionist, abstract and classical realism.
Each artist has developed their own unique style and method of working. Feel free to ask questions about materials and their creative processes. You will find the artists are delighted to share their journey.
